Purpose

Within North America alone, there are over 350 million ink and toner cartridges (2004) discarded each year and growing at a tremendous rate as technology is further integrated into our daily lives. That's 8 cartridges per second and growing at 12% per year in North America alone.

It has been estimated these cartridges can take up to 450 years to decompose, with certain parts taking over 1,000 years. Imagine how we can have an impact by simply using remanufactured cartridges while saving up to 50% on the cost of replacement. Our natural resources are being depleted at an alarming rate and we as a nation must often rely on other Countries to supply the American demand.

This reliance is costing us at an alarming rate as well. Consider recently when gas rose to the highest level in our history as a Nation, simply because supply was limited. By using remanufactured products, this consumption can be reduced as it takes nearly a gallon of oil to make a new toner cartridge.

Eco-Print was founded in an attempt to reduce this overwhelming impact of new cartridge production while saving our customers considerably in relation to their printer consumable expense.
